I recently bought a Sky acoustic guitar from Ebay. The purchase price was right around $40.00, new, so I wasn't expecting much.

The guitar came in about a week, neatly packaged in a cardboard box, and came with a light weight gig bag, a pick, an extra set of strings, a strap, pitch-pipe, and a weird giant pick.

I scoured the net for some of the best guitar review sites I could find.

Harmony Central is an excellent site for reviews of guitars amps and effects, as well as some pa gear. They also have a classified section.

Electric Guitar Review is a great site with good reviews of guitars amps and effects.

Ultimate Guitar has reviews of bass and six string guitars, amps, and effects, but also reviews books, cds, and dvds. A great all around site.
